The Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) supports the Australia Defence Force  (ADF) and the Department of Defence Capability Managers by generating leading edge solutions and by providing robust scientific and technical advice, support and solutions. When work load expands, DSTG look to industry to supplement the existing workforce, or bring specialist skill sets. Late last year saw the release of a RFT to establish a panel of engineering and technical resources, this week we look at an opportunity more focused on scientific and technical support. The overall scope of work is to undertake the characterization and performance evaluation of multiple systems and technologies, relevant, sub-systems and components when operating in test, normal operation and contested operating  environments within the following domains:
a. Radio-frequency (RF);
b. Electro-optical (EO);
c. Digital systems analysis; and
d. Mechanical prototyping support.

Both Senior and Junior specialists are required and Tenderers can do not have to bid on all categories. All work will be carried out at DSTG, Edinburgh SA.Tenders must be submitted by the tender closing date – 19 July with service commencing 5 September 2022 for 12 months with options to extend for upto a further 4 years.
