This Week’s Highlight: Security Services and Equipment Panel

The Department of Home Affairs, responsible for national security, law enforcement, border control, and immigration, is seeking to establish a Panel of individuals or organisations as a Security Service Provider for the provision of a wide range of Security Services and Equipment.

Through this Request for Tender (RFT), The Department is looking for Panelists to cover the following service Categories:

  1. Professional Services, including security, construction, and security consultants.
  2. Threat Reporting, Analysis, and Security Risk Assessment
  3. Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) Systems, Services, and Maintenance
  4. Security Technology Systems
  5. Security Zone Hardware
  6. Electrician and Electrical Security Services
  7. Locksmith Security Services
  8. Security and other Equipment and Maintenance
  9. Perimeter Security
  10. Specialist Security Equipment
  11. Armoured Vehicles
  12. Security Training Services
  13. Security Officer, Security Guard Services and Security Monitoring, Mobile Alarm Responses and Patrol Services
  14. Security Vetting Services
  15. Security Clearance Psychological Services
  16. Classified Document and Media Shredders

 

Detailed quality assurance requirements for each service are listed in the RFT, and Tenderers can apply for one or multiple services.

All tenderers must be able to comply with location and security requirements, including gaining security clearance if directed.

The initial term of the panel will be three years, with the option to extend for an additional four years.

There will be an Industry Briefing on the 19th of April. 

The closing time and date for responses will remain open until the 3rd of May 2024.
