This Week’s Highlight: National Gallery of Australia Consultancy Services.

The National Gallery of Australia (NGA) is one of the largest art museums of Australia, housing more than 150,000 works of art. As part of their $100+ million capital works program, the NGA has renovated critical buildings, installed new LED lighting, and initiated other infrastructure projects. This program encompasses capital asset upgrade projects, the establishment of a sustainable asset management program, and the delivery of significant capital works projects.

The NGA is seeking to procure consultancy services for their Master Programming project, as part of the capital works program. This tender involves the development of a comprehensive master program, which will integrate approximately 20 individual project programs into a whole-of-portfolio master program. The selected contractor will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration of these individual project programs into the overarching plan, ensuring alignment with the National Gallery’s established milestones.

The chosen supplier will conduct a thorough review of the existing master and individual project programs, validating their ability to be seamlessly integrated and updated throughout the project lifecycle. Subsequently, a comprehensive master program will be compiled and structured by consolidating individual programs.

Following this, the successful consultant will facilitate seamless updates on a bi-monthly basis to align with the Gallery’s project reporting cycle. These update meetings will be aimed at discussing and refining project programs, designed to foster collaboration, enabling the consultant to review and status each project program, in preparation for seamlessly integrating individual projects into the Master Program.

The engagement will be for a period of two years, with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods.

The closing time and date for responses will remain open until the 10th of July 2024.
