Defence Housing Australia (DHA) is a Government Business Enterprise that provides housing and related services for Defence members and their families. The housing offered to ADF members is Australia wide both in metro and regional locations to meet posting requirements and as such DHA presents frequent opportunities to the building and construction industry both in new build and upkeep. This week we look at a panel refresh opportunity for maintenance related trades for residential services in a number of states.

The Residential Maintenance Services Panel incorporates Grounds Maintenance, Landscaping, Painting, Sprinkler Maintenance, Window Furnishings, Plumbing, Carpentry, Fencing, Locksmiths, Roof Tiling, Ceramic Tiling and Building, however not each location requires the full suite of services. All work will be limited to residential housing maintenance/upgrade work, which can include freestanding homes, strata units and townhouses or multi-dwelling complexes.

Note that each location is a separate Request For Tender (RFT) and must be responded to as such with the main criteria for evaluation is demonstration of suitable qualifications and experience in the nominated service/trade and the capacity to undertake the work in the nominated maintenance area.

– Wagga Wagga and Albury Wodonga – closes 29 June 22

– Sydney, Nowra and Wollongong – closes 29 June 22

– Regional and Remote QLD– closes 28 June 22

– Regional and Remote WA– closes 28 June 22

– Darwin, Larrakeyan, Tindal – closes 22 June 22

– Adelaide – closes 22 June 22

The initial contract term will be 12 months to 30 Jun 23 with possibility for extension.
