Recruitment services in their various forms are commonly outsourced by government departments. Many departments have centralised their HR services, maintaining only governance type roles and outsourcing transactional work. This week our focus is on the various recruitment RFTs currently open. If you’re an established recruitment company, you would want to consider the ATO’s Recruitment Services Panel. As with all panels, this does not guarantee any work, however it ensures that you get the opportunity to quote on it. Bidding on panels is low risk assuming you have a proven track record in the requirement and submit a compliant tender. An industry brief is being held via webinar on the 1st August.
In terms of support and enabling systems, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade are seeking a web based software solution to support their recruitment processes. This RFT has been open for a few weeks already, and closes on 7 Aug 17. Detailed technical requirements have been provided as part of the RFT documentation.
Expanding on the recruitment requirement, the AFP is seeking a broader Talent Management Solution to improve on their current method of operation. In addition to recruitment, the solution needs to also provide Performance and Learning management and Career Development and Succession Planning. There is also potential for the requirement to expand within the duration of the contract. This RFT closes 15 Aug 17.
