This week we look at a panel opportunity issued by Services Australia (previously known as Department of Human Services) for Health and Wellbeing Goods and Services.
This panel covers a wide range of services which Services Australia is looking to make available to it’s 31,000 employees located nationwide. The type of services that could be offered include:
– Gym membership/s
– Exercise and general fitness programs
– Stress Management
– Nutritional Services/Healthy Eating Options
– Weight loss programs
– Alternate and holistic therapies/initiatives
– Mindfulness / Meditation Programs
– Reducing/quitting smoking, alcohol and drug use
The over all aim of the panel is to support and encourage healthy behaviours in the Agency’s staff, giving them the best opportunity to access services regardless of their location, work and family commitments. Potential panel members must ensure that they can comply with Privacy legislation and ensure that the services on offer allow for the inclusion of all staff member types within the Agency – including employees, contracted staff, or third party staff working at Agency’s premises. Note that the services required are not specific and the Agency is open to proposals both during this tender period and while the panel is operational, that offer value for money and provide the health and well being benefits being called for.
The panel is expected to run for a period of two years with options for a 2 x 1 year extension. The Closing Date for this RFT is 21st February 2020.
