In these uncertain times, mental health is becoming the focus of several government departments and it is likely that increased opportunities will appear in this space over the next few months. This week we look at an opportunity issued by the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) looking to establish a Panel of one or more Contractors, to provide high quality holistic services, focusing on Mental Health and Well Being.
Being a Department whose sole purpose is to support those of serve or have served in the defence of our nation, DVA is seeking only tenderers with processes, practices and methods of engagement based on, and respectful of, the needs of veterans and their families. It is important to be aware of DVA’s approach to service delivery and align your methodology in your response to suit. This panel will allow for a range of delivery methods including face-to-face, web-based and mobile application as well as group program offerings, with programs to be offered nationally. The categories of service are:
Category 1: Peer Support Offerings
Category 2: Family Programs
Category 3: Sleep Programs
Category 4: Nutrition Programs
Category 5: Mindfulness Programs
Category 6: Exercise Programs
Category 7: Stress Management Programs
It is essential that nominated personnel have the required qualifications and accreditation and that your organisation has the ability to provide national geographic coverage.
This panel arrangement is intended to operate for three years with potential for a 2 year extension. The Request for Tender closes 14 Sep 20.
