Opportunites for specialist consultants are frequently called for by government departments. This week we look at an opportunity issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) who is seeking to establish a Future Strategies Taskforce. This Taskforce will assist CASA in identifying key developments that are expected to have significant impacts on Australia’s civil aviation operations over the coming 3-10 years. Nine competency areas have been identified by CASA as listed below. It is important to note that CASA is seeking organsiations with capability across multiple categories (not necesarily all):
Interested tenderers are to take note of the varied submission process. Since the principal aspects of this program are expected to be delivered by May 2022, CASA seeks to place contracts in a fairly short period of time. As such submisisons are to be emailed to tenders@casa.gov.au as soon as they are completed. CASA is encouraging early submissions, as evaluations will commence as soon as submissions are received and contracts may be awarded to applicants as soon as they are successful in this registration process. CASA’s present tranche of work is expected to be completed by 30 June 2022 and activity in this field is likely to be ongoing beyond 30 June 2022. Final submissions will close on the 30 Apr 22.
