ADROITA and Engineering Business, both female-owned and led engineering consultancies serving the defence and government sectors, have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The partnership deal was inked to share knowledge and work to support Australian SMEs and critical defence programs. The formal agreement aims to capitalise on the melding of strategic business advice, systems engineering, and bid and tendering support that is crucial to success in the Defence sector.

The agreement sets both companies up to provide greater capability to their respective clients, drawing on a deep well of engineering expertise and experience. The shared mission of the companies of engineering success for Australian businesses will be enhanced and will support the growth of sovereign industrial capability across Australia.

ADROITA CEO Ms Sarah Pavillard said, “I’m delighted about turning ADROITA’s relationship with Engineering Business into a partnership that will deliver real results for each of our clients, and therefore Defence. This partnership will strengthen Australia’s sovereign systems engineering capability, and is another example of ADROITA realising our core purpose of Engineering Success for Sovereign Capability.”

Engineering Business Managing Director Ms Julie Mikhail said “This partnership will see a broadening of our service offering to better meet the needs of Australian businesses seeking to offer capability to government. I look forward to exploring opportunities with Adroita that provide mutual benefit and ultimately improves sovereign capability within the industry and the outcomes for the Australian government.

NSW Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade Stuart Ayres congratulated both companies on their agreement and said he was delighted they had been supported to showcase at the INDO PACIFIC 2022 International Maritime Exposition tradeshow in Sydney.

“Attending Indo Pac will allow both these companies to expand their networks, meet with potential customers and expand their domestic and global footprints,” Mr Ayres said.

“The defence and aerospace sector across NSW is critical to our economic strength and it is great to have companies big and small showcasing their innovative ideas and technologies at this event.”
