Australian company Central Health Services (CHS) has been awarded a $185 million contract with Defence CASG as a result of working with Engineering Business. The contract awarded is for the supply of pharmaceuticals and medical and dental consumables and equipment for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
With a deep understanding of Defence procurement requirements, Engineering Business directly sought out CHS as a best fit for this capability due to their focus on customer service, their corporate viability and more importantly their Australian Industry content. Working closely with CHS, Engineering Business helped develop a solid strategy and prepare the winning tender.
Christopher Pyne, Minister for Defence Industry, congratulated CHS and noted the benefits they would bring to the ADF. “Entering into an agreement with this Australian national wholesaler will see a smarter, more efficient way of delivering essential supplies to Defence,” he said in a recent media release. “This contract provides the opportunity for Defence and industry to partner together and continuously improve the support, management and delivery of pharmaceutical products, medical and dental consumables to our Defence Force.”
